Fondazione Prada
the nine-floor Tower and Wes Anderson-designed Bar Luce
Prada's contemporary art museum featuring a nine-floor tower where each level offers distinct avant-garde exhibitions. Don't miss Bar Luce, the on-site café designed by Wes Anderson that feels like stepping into one of his films.
In Vigentino, Milan. Easy to fold into a morning or a longer afternoon; there's usually something else worth a stop within a few minutes' walk.
Fondazione Prada is Prada's contemporary art foundation in Largo Isarco, Milan, opened in 2015 in a converted 1910s distillery reimagined by OMA / Rem Koolhaas. The complex includes the Tower (a nine-floor exhibition building with terrace views), the gold-leaf Haunted House, and the Podium, hosting rotating avant-garde exhibitions and a permanent collection. On-site is Bar Luce, designed by Wes Anderson in 2015 to evoke a 1950s–60s Milanese café with pastel interiors, pinball machines, and a jukebox, serving pastries, cured-meat sandwiches, cocktails and light fare. Restaurant Torre and a bookshop are also on the grounds; external spaces, bookshop and the cafés can be visited free of charge. Reachable via M3 Lodi T.I.B.B., with free on-site parking.
