Dubai outpost of the Abu Dhabi-born urban coffeehouse, tucked into the back lane of Alserkal Avenue's warehouse arts district in Al Quoz. The matcha programme is the draw — Cloudy Matcha, Blue Matcha and a Matcha Hot Chocolate — backed by solid specialty coffee, wholesome breakfasts and good toasties served all day. Open 10am to 10pm, it slots naturally into a gallery-hopping loop through Alserkal. No official website; the Instagram account is the practical source for hours and menu updates.

Orijins

Coffee shop · DIFC · €€€
A pioneering Emirati-owned specialty coffee shop in DIFC's Gate Village 8, with a striking VSHD-designed interior of curved ceilings and uneven marble blocks inspired by water-smoothed Red Sea stones. Known for meticulously brewed coffee (V60, single-origin espresso, flat whites) plus classical pastries and desserts.
03

TRIO

Coffee shop · Jumeirah · €€€
Minimalist neighborhood specialty coffee spot on Al Manara Street in Umm Suqeim, one of several TRIO branches across the UAE and handy to the Jumeirah beach stretch. Regulars come for Spanish lattes, high-grade matcha and the signature French toasts; a modern interior and outdoor terrace make it an easy laptop or catch-up stop, and there's a drive-thru for the coffee run. Open from early morning until around midnight, so it works for both a 7am flat white and a late dessert.
