Why it's here

the curated design space itself — furniture, ceramics and apothecary goods you can use, then buy

Part showroom, part concept store, part café – every corner is curated within an inch of its life, yet somehow feels effortless. The space itself is the star: raw concrete, aged wood, and their signature furniture pieces arranged like art installations. The in-house café serves simple, beautiful food on ceramics you'll immediately want to buy. Their coffee is excellent, presented in handmade cups that feel perfect in your hands. Shopping here is dangerous – from apothecary products to linen bedding, everything whispers 'take me home.' The courtyard is a hidden gem when weather permits. Yes, it's pricey, but you're paying for that distinctly Copenhagen aesthetic that's impossible to replicate. Come for inspiration, stay for the atmosphere.

Frama in Copenhagen is the Frama design brand's Studio Store, set in the historic 19th-century St. Pauls Apotek (dating to 1878) on Fredericiagade 57 in the Nyboder royal quarter, doubling as showroom and concept store for furniture, ceramics, linens and apothecary products. Inside is Apotek 57, a café that opened October 1, 2020, with a menu curated by chef Chiara Barla focused on simple, seasonal, high-quality food and drinks served on Frama's own tableware. The space is built around a large oak communal table with Frama's Chair 01s, framing an intimate, design-forward atmosphere aimed at the local community and design enthusiasts. Hours are roughly Mon–Fri 8–16 and Sat–Sun 9–16, so it's a daytime spot. This corroborates the curator's notes: the space is the star, the café is simple and beautiful, coffee is a highlight, and shopping is the main draw.
