Temple of Brewzeus
consistent espresso and tidy pour-overs from the Origo/Brewzeus team
Straightforward coffee bar with a friendly team. Shots are consistent and pour‑overs are tidy. Best mornings; afternoons get busy.
In Cișmigiu, Bucharest. Easy to fold into a morning or a longer afternoon; there's usually something else worth a stop within a few minutes' walk.
Temple of Brewzeus is a recently-opened specialty coffee bar on Domnița Anastasia 4 in central Bucharest, occupying part of the former CFR Agency space alongside Pâine Goală bakery and Ironic Taproom. The coffee comes from Brewzeus, a brand from the same team behind Origo (founder Mihai Panfil), so it is well-regarded in the Bucharest specialty scene and treated as an alternative when Origo is full. The shared space lets you watch fresh bread and croissants come out of Pâine Goală's ovens through a large window, and the surrounding area (Mario's Osteria, Energiea, Pâine et Vin) is a growing food hub. No reservation system — it's a walk-in coffee bar. The curator notes match the broader signal: consistent shots, tidy pour-overs, best in the morning, busier in the afternoon.
